- The common organ among almost all animals is feet. The foot is located at the end of their legs for vertebrates. It is made up of bones, muscles and connective tissues.
- The soft or padded feet of animals are known as paws. Mollusks are seen in oysters, clams, etc. Foot is used for bipedal locomotion in humans.
- This bipedal locomotion is known as walking. The anatomy of our hands and legs are the same other than the opposite thumb and the dexterity.
- Our leg comprises half of the legs and intricate in structure. This intricate structure is because of balancing.
- Improper loading of the foot causes foot problems. The list of foot problems are Heel Spurs, Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar Fascistic, Arch/Pain Strain, Shin Splints, Arthritis.
- Most of these problems are treatable and can be cured by a doctor. You are recommended to have it looked at as soon as possible if you are experiencing any pains or other symptoms in your feet and lower legs.
- Your foot is as important as it provides foundation for life.
